Nick Peterson is a seasoned attorney with almost a decade of experience in criminal law. Before founding Peterson Law Office, Nick served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with Cass County, Missouri. During his tenure, he successfully tried multiple felony jury trials and worked a wide range of felony and misdemeanor cases, including homicides, sex offenses, robberies, assaults, drug offenses, domestic assaults, and DWIs.

Prior to returning to the Kansas City area in 2019, Nick also served as a United States Postal Inspector with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, Nick investigated federal crimes such as mail theft, identity theft, burglaries, robberies, and violent assaults. He also gained valuable experience in preparing and executing search warrants and participated in multiple federal arrest operations.
